forget authenticity

seeems like
   food-heads
 are always looking
  for "authentic cuisine".

forget it!

you're just setting
yerself up
for a scam.

Old recipes are fine,
don't get me wrong
I like a dish with
good provenance.

But this is only
one way to think about food.

Sometimes, a brand new
dish is good too,
even if it's not
dished up by
a celebrity chef.

'cause that's just
authenticity too, just
another way of rarifying
the experience of eating,
of winnowing out
the majority of recipes

(arbitrarily) and
making food seem like more
than it is.

It's just food, fella.

Let it flow free.
Good food is everywhere,
you'll know it
when you taste it

an all ages show,
no ID required.
