ain't coming from the CDC, as most news
sources are saying, it's coming straight
from the whoreses mouth: JAMA

now they don't want a lot of public scrutiny,
so it's hard to get a hold of the technical
details, but I've gotten a glimpse of the
abstract, and it's enough to state with surety:

THIS IS NOT MEDICINE, IT IS BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION

The four docs implicated in this piece of
propaganda start out with the assumption:

"Modifiable behavioral risk factors are leading causes of mortality in the United States."

and go from there. They do not even bother
to try to substantiate this garbage!

(and never mind that we are talking
ONLY
about leading causes of death
AFTER THE AGE OF 65)

These docs have used their
expensive medical education
to simply tally
what they have decided are
"preventable" deaths
from the CDC's year 2000 mortality tables
and slapped the pompous title on it:
"ACTUAL CAUSES OF DEATH 2000"

it would be to laugh
if I weren't
busting with rage.

All their "research" shows
is that
at this point in our
illustrious development
as a species,
death by infectious disease
does not account for the
preponderance of death.
So instead of dying by accident
and supid chance, we tend to die
as a function of how we live.

Good...that's progress!
to call this "preventable" death
when death itself is not preventable
is absurd.
It is death by a method of our choosing
And I am proud to be an American
where we enjoy ourselves to death!

But you won't hear any of this TRUE FACT
from the Behavior Modificationists.

Their con operates only one way:
shame shame shame
applied with a crowbar
to any aspect of the subject's life
that offers a point of purchase

in this case the social prejudice
against the fat

it's a good trick
keep the rubes running in circles
like chicken little,
while the real operators
do their dirty business unbothered
behind the sanitized curtain.
