public nerds strike

what's it tell ya

'bout my mind set 

when it takes

 the baffooonery 

of

  some city lab dinks

 pencil rocketeers 

and 

'puter geeks 

to  get me posting again ....

 okay so they ain't harry bridges boys

  and they can't close the city down

but  hey they did the right thing 

     the hideous fact 

      is the lack of solidarity 

other then the dock workers

and some hard hats building a new air strip at lax

a seiu contingent 

and of course

  teamsters everywhere 

i say threaten to reload and triple the take down 

next month .....starting the day after labor day  

lets test the public waters

let's see what side 

the citizen tax payers are on 

                           here

"The union — which had suggested 

its strike would close airport runways,

 send sewage into the bay 

and cause huge traffic tie-ups — 

slowed city business in several departments 

but didn't have a huge effect.

 A plan for a 4:30 p.m. march to City Hall,

 designed to cause rush-hour delays,

 was shelved in favor 

of a mild protest 

during which members repeatedly 

crossed Figueroa Street to slow traffic.

 "We didn't nail every target," 

conceded Robert Aquino, 

the union's executive director.
