betrayal / hard hearted
blogside:
collecting strings
recollecting things
cartside, the collaboration is still afoot...
-----------
to the point:
out of a conversation
a thought
betrayal is a terrible poison.
runs so deep and cold.
does it reach all the way to the wellhead?
no no it doesn't
mustn't believe that
or hope dies.
molly: "'society' as a whole
cannot betray the individual.
they're co-defined."
must be more careful
than that in defining your terms
(be distrustful of negri's
theory of "omnicrisis")
--------
betrayal can slam you
in this world
it's easy as pie
particularly
given that so many
of the understandings
we rely on
are unspoken.
zeropride
was one attempt
to process a betrayal
but how
did it happen?
who was right
and who
was wrong?
how can I know?
can't, but
all this buffeting
hardens
the heart.
confusion.
mol tse:
"if you can't make any
predictions
about the future,
then how can you
have any hope?
and...boom.
frozen in time?"
the left is
at best
partially thawed
(and there's quite a
bit of freezer burn
to cut away).
--------
partial solutions
a new promise
can create the
conditions
for a softening of
the heart.
letting people in
dealing honestly
new connections
new deal.
"e can be rebuilt"
build em good boys and gurls!

the individual finds
he's been produced
by a world not
of his making
or liking
and to boot
the fucker is in the process
of remaking itself
without asking his permission
and in dierctions
straight up opposite
his implicit wishes
if that ain't maybe
a full blown
betrayal
(since after all
who fuckin' promised him roses
after his mom ran off with that drummer)
butfuck
at least you gotta let him
feel shitty about it
hell the guy didn't make himself right ?
didn't fucking pack this bag of his
this bod and brain
this fucking totally
inadequate gear
and he sure as fuck
wouldn't a
put himself where he is
without a whole bunch
of better tools
what kinda system does this to a soul ?

one could
say the same
about
primordial man --
was he betrayed?
yes social tools
are inadequate
ADD that there
have been
a series of
astounding sabotages
of our tools
by foul traitors...
but you see --
traitors must be specified
or we'll never muster
will to fight.
feel bad, sure
tools are inadequate, sure
but still:
rebuild rebuild rebuild

betrayal requires a promise perhaps implicit of course
a lie never believed leads to no betrayal
corporate america can betray its little investor fucklings
but its wagery really ought
to know whats up
and i believe they do
but shrug it off
like a string of rainy days
that ends say onweekends and twice a year
for a whole fucking week
hey i'm a wage moron
the wheathers just mostly bad around here

true true meat
but there is
at least a promise
of
perpetuity
at home
and a certain
fast-and-loose
usage of our
names abroad
which I believe
is not fully
accounted for.
on both fronts
this is a call
for fortitude
and long-term thinking
today may
be survivable,
but
the struggle
over tomorrow
is afoot.

right u are kompadre
on
the top kicks
giving uz
a bad rep else where
twin tower
type blow backs
and all
the over there
past welcome
has no wagery support what so ever
pulling yet another
over priced
and
nothin in it for uz wageries
cept the entertainment value
don't sell long and deep
on blue collar ave
so i agree
uncle's killgram's progress
might come back to ass bite
the tower tikes
however i believe the record shows
and I'm sure u agree
national solidarity
and national ID
didn't just destroy
the second international
wage klass patriotism deposited even
in a failing bank
can cause these same
blue neck
stake holders
to play a fuckin
yellow ribbon type
tattoo
on the heads of any
non same klass
non same boat
anti's
got to rally behind their wagery
