Ups for the Red Chef

A nice guy named Matthew Gross came by and interviewed me last weekend for the NY Sun. Here is the resulting article.

That is pretty big Sam. Hopefully it is good PR. Do you get a lot of interesting customers?

Thanks guys (and good luck with the new name Chris)! A few customers have already come specifically because of the article, helping make this weekend was the best so far.

So, I hope I will be able to stay warm enough stick it out for at least a couple more months, Mr. Legs! ;) btw the other condiments in the Korean BBQ are Kimchi (pickled cabbage), daikon radish pickle, sesame spinach, and salty little fish (I can't get a grasp on the korean name).

Yeah Eric, there are a lot of cool and interesting people who come by the cart -- every night is different, and sometimes it gets pretty wild. See my next post...

The food sounds great. How long have you beein doing it? I lived on Ludlow & Stanton all summer, and I don't think I ever saw you. Wish I had; I was always hungry post-11 pm.

Hi Nathalie --
My first day of operation was July 5th, and I've been out every weekend since that except one, although towards the beginning I had a hard time making it out both fri and saturdays. But I've pretty much got that down by now (and am looking towards thursdays), so if you're ever in the old 'hood, stop by and visit!
