the wall
like water

the paths of least resistence
but she gets to everywhere
she needs to go
trying to prevent her from
playing locality off on locality ...........
thats a suckers game
---------------------------------------------
here's a recent piece of mo jo
along these lines
----------- first a solid technical point
is made
on wal marts shrewd
"speeemheadism "------------------
" Wallllll-Mart spokespeople have denied
that the company
encourages employees
to collect public assistance,
but
the documents speak for themselves.
They bear
the Wal-Mart logo,
and one is labeled
"Wal-Mart:
Instructions for Associates
applying to Social service Agencies."
------------- a campaign
to prove the community net lose
thru allowing a walmart next door
exceeds my attention span
and may haps some other folks too
i.e.i'd save this anti WAL thrust for the poli - wonkers "----------------
----------and yet tis true ....-------------------
"Public assistance is very clearly
part of the retailer's cost-cutting strategy."
--------------- so righto ITS sickening
but then ain't it so for
the whole corporate system ??? !!!!! ----------------------------
" the complicity of both parties
in Wal-Mart's power
over workers points
to the need
for a politics
that
squarely challenges corporate greed
-----------hip hip ---------------
and takes the side
of ordinary people. "
----------hoo rahhhhhhhhhhhh ---------
" that kind of politics seems, at
present, strongest at the local level."
-------------- the hot balloon also rises
imagine we kan take out the profiteers at town meetings --------------------------
" Earlier this year, labor and community groups in
Chicago prevented Wal-Mart from opening a store on the
city's South Side,
in part by pushing through an
ordinance that would have forced the retailer to pay
a "living " wage
--------------hmmmmmmmmmmm okayzo
but why not raise
by referendum
the state wide
wage min much higher
for firms with say
over
1000 in state employees ----------------------
In Hartford,
Connecticut,
labor and community advocates
just won
passage of an ordinance
protecting their free speech
rights on the grounds
of the new Wal-Mart Supercenter,
which is being built on city property.
--------------------here's a real issue
butfuck
notice the crutch of the "built on public land" bull
no the way forward generally
is by hundreds of mahatma - esque
martyrdoms
set off
a jobakzee free speech
wal-job site action
that oughta lead
to the proper level of mass firings
send
a wave crossing from coast to coast
nation wide
do that
and you're
sure to hit the network news
by mid country --------------------
" Similar battles
are raging nationwide
but Wal-Mart's opponents don't
usually act with as much coordination
as Wal-Mart does,"
----------- right on !!!!(see above) --------------------
"and they lack the retail behemoth's
deep pockets."
------------- non sense
"vampaigns " like thiz
are about "story smarts"
not about funding ---------------
"With this in mind, SEIU president
Andy Stern has
recently been calling attention
to the need for better
coordination
and funding
of labor and community
anti-Wal-Mart efforts"
------shit andy's gang ?
why
those purple pea shooters
couldn't organize
a ladies' hat rack
that iz
unless it
was half public property
or built around
profit on a cost plus basis
or non competes
or NPO type
"we do diz just fer laffz"
" including
taking an intentional shit
on itself now and then " -----------------------------
" Stern has proposed that the
AFL-CIO allocate $25 million
of its royalties
from
purchases on its Union Plus credit card
toward fighting
Wal-Mart and the "Wal-Martization"
of the great American work place "
------------ get thiz

letz

out therein wal marterland ----------------------
----------------------------------------------
--later after the stern flush --------------------
" but if we required
employers to pay a living wage....."
--------- balloon now flying over the moon ----------
----------- till thiz rock is struck ------------
" walmart knows
what labor's up to
and it hires lobbyists
in Washington to vigorously
fight any effort at such reforms"
------------ what reforms ?---------------
"indeed, Wal-Mart has
recently beefed up
political infrastructure
substantially,
and it's likely
that its presence in
Washington
will only grow more conspicuous"
------------ right
so as my grand dad used to say:
"when they own the circus

sure
every one knows
ya gotta beat em
" guerrilla style "
but baby
no matter how ferocious
you look and act
no one getz
scared shitless
by whats bein performed
in the center ring ----------------
"thiz The situation won't change by itself "
------------------------ amen --------------------
------------ o h here's a wild note ...-------------
" In Germany, unions
are powerful enough
to force Wal-Mart
to play by their
rules."
-------- not so fast buster brown
as things
are headed now
the rules are about
to change big time
keep tuned
we may soon see
a new free market
wal market germany
yup
the fugger-fuckersat
the euro center
have it all drafted up....
and
the new wall

swap cola for productivity
here's greenspan-rove's
latest
bester bestest
poison dope deal :
preserve
"real SSI benefits"
by swapin in
the present "iffy "
wage based
conversion formula
for a
rock solid
cost of living index
====================================================
yup
and sell it
AS part of the win win package
sell it as
a way safer
better play
then standin pat
----------------------------------------------
letz dump
the tired old formula
we got now
why?
cause its a pig in a poke
whereas the cost of living index deal
provides a cast iron
inflation protection
guarantee
=================================================
watch closely....
right now
all one getz
is an unknown benefit
churned out
by a "conversion formula"
sure its based on
current average wages
but
what a rook
that could get to be
imagine
if wages
start to
fall behind prices
what with out -sourcing
and
other such "coolie competition"............
see the gaping uncertainties here
cow boy ?
------------------------------------
then there's
the drab unspun
truth ........
as one pundit puts it :
"just imagine gang
if we had
a pure cost index
set up from day one
why
today we'd have
a benefit package based on
real wages
back in 1935
not 2004 "
-------------------------------------------------------
okay so reality
gives you doubts
you figure there can't be
enough dumb dumbs
to pull thiz off
no way can
"them"
actually
"get home intact
against such straight forward
arithmatic "
only elephants drunk
on klass rape
would even try
to put
this plus perfect
hog wash
over
on the hard
working american masses
well
sir
i say
"them " not only
will
try
"them "
may well
succeed......
---------------------------------------
try this pitch :
" looky here wage geeps
with our plan
not only
do you get
a fabulous
totally
personal
and private
- property rights protected-
"blue streak
jack rabbit
long stocking"
equity
retirement account
but also
yes also
you get
"plus "that
yes "plus "that
an absolutely
no "cut"
SSI
uncle sam guaranteed
benefit plan
yes a twofer
a ready to rise
stock rocket
annnnd
a stone solid
base line benefit
worth
not one penny
less
then the benefit
pops iz gettin today
and
thats
no matter when you retire "
---------------------------------------------------
yup
i'd say
that
rover- grover
type
" big fudge"
just
might do the trick
------------------------------
but its
no matter anyway
cause whatever
dick pull
"them" elephant kongressionals
finally come up with
long as
the fucker
looks
" pro-active"
shit
plain folks will swallow
the turd
of it whole
come on here
long as
it ain't happened yet
my numbers
are as good as yours
right?
its all
about opinions
right?
and
thanx to
the fucking
pusilanamous
even handed
consensus stampede
front line press
with its "crisis -crisis brewin"
bombardment
ain't
"them's" got
the klowns
nearly
pre- convinced ?
after all
" somethin must be done "
---------------------------
nope
the elephant kongress
can't lose
less they
sit on their hands
cause
most geeps under 40
by now
figure if we stick with " as iz"
come retirement day
they
ain't gettin
nothin but "dry holes"
so shit
in a time like this
a time of media induced
hopelessness
ya might as well
promise
miracles
faith healing
exorcism
resurrection...
why not ?
go ahead
roll out
the prepetual motion machines
just keep em movin forward
stay
super postive
put on
that
fool proof
"robed and wondrous " act
make the giffs
think yer pure
redeemer
cry out to em
" join uz
join uz

here's a partial pass
at the rip
behind the shell game :
--------------------------------------------
todays newz
by a dazed reporter
"President Bush
points
to a plan developed
by his Social Security Commission
as a "good blueprint"
for Congress to follow.
Under this plan,
Social Security benefits
are cut
for all future retirees
whether they participated
in private accounts or not.
---------- ie no choice
to stick with what they now got -----------
The cuts would grow deeper
over time
---------- now theres the lead line -----------
The Congressional Budget Office
(CBO)
recently concluded
that the Commission's plan
would mean
"lower total retirement income"
for future retirees
----okay
the plan's
individual accounts
combined
with reduced Social Security benefits
would pay less
then the present system
but would it cost less
in future pay roll taxes too?
ie "reduced forced savings" ------
For those born
in the 1970s
with earnings in the middle
of the income distribution
---------- notice the choice here
those in the middle
who neither pay into the redistibution
nor recieve any boost out of it -------
CBO projects that
the combination
of the private account
and reduced Social Security benefits
would equal just 77 percent
of current Social Security benefits.
-here's the bell ringer -----------
For children born
in this decade,
the combination would provide
just a little more than
half of benefits."

better stay healthy you old bastards
corporate sponsored
retiree health plans ?
shit
are they
lookin like dodos
( nurse steve
posted thiz )
===========================
WASHINGTON, Dec. 14 -
A study,
issued Tuesday
by the Kaiser Family Foundation
and Hewitt Associates,
showed a continued erosion
of retiree health benefits
among large employers.
Companies are requiring retirees
to pay a larger share
of premiums and other health costs.
While continuing to provide coverage
for people who have already retired,
about 8 percent
of large private employers
took action in the last year
to end all subsidized health benefits
for future retirees,
and another 11 percent said
they would do so next year.
"Prospects for retiree health coverage
are slowly disappearing for America's workers,
and retirees who have it
will be paying more," said Drew E. Altman,
the president of the Kaiser Family Foundation,
New hires, in particular,
are less likely
to receive any promise
of retiree health benefits.
employers increased co-payments
for prescription medicines,
required retirees
to get prior approval
for certain drugs
or
insisted that retirees
use mail-order pharmacies.
A typical worker under age 65
who retired this year
paid $2,244 annually
in health premiums
- 27 percent more
than a similar worker
who retired in 2003,
most workers retire
before reaching 65.
"Employers tell us
expect more
of the same next year."
An employer's power
to cut retiree health benefits
depends on the terms
of the documents
that establish a health plan.
Courts have generally said
that if an employer
explicitly reserves
the right
to reduce
or eliminate
health benefits,
it can do so.
Among employers in the survey,
79 percent said
they increased premiums
for retiree health benefits
this year
and 45 percent
increased co-payments
for a range
of health care services.
The long-term trend is clear.
Among employers
with 200 or more workers,
only 36 percent offered
retiree
health benefits
down from 66 percent in 1988.

mr bush tear down that transfer system
privatization of SSI?
why?
its real simple
ITS PART OF DE-SOCIALIZATION
AMERICAN STYLE
=====================================
the elephant housers
on behalf
of their korporate sponsors
are out to tear down
whats left
of
the new deal
public financial transfer system
once and for all
-------- lady eve ghosted this part---------
then i'll
prance forth
and answer the query
should we fight em?
-----------------------------------------------------
today
when
policy options
come down
to choices
of direction
to whither x ....?
at least
within
the nation's financial
transfer systems
one thing iz
"perfectly clear"
those that are now
fully "socialized"
ie
those that are now run
thru a " state"
tax and entitlement system
go ahead
look at em
any
ofem
any one of these public
transfer systems
and
you'll find
the same
nice neat
2 pronged attack
a two party fork
in the policy road
oneprong
one paradigm
one path forward
iz the GOP
"this mother-fucker's another amtrack"
the other path ahead
THE JACK ASS PARADIGM
" lets postal service the old bastard "
both say
you choose america
or better yet
let uz choose for ya
and the hobsons choice?
either
we just
castrate
the brute ?
or
we fucking
totally abolish
the monstrosity ?
---------------------------------------
as an example
of the more fashionable
latter approach :
most elephant boys
in the house
paint
a ghastly train wreck acomin'
amtrack like view
of the SSI
transfer system
"deficits
brake downs
run away costs...."
in moments of broad vision
they try to help us
step back
let uz see
social security
for what its become:
a woeful
scandalous
anachronistic
pathetically
creaky
rumbling
brake down laner
a god aweful throw back
a system
long long long ago
by passed
by what ?
"by the advent
of personal computers ?"
"shit no
by the advent of common sense "
-----------------------------------
"today we can do lots lots better
we prolly always could "
here's the solution :
"personal private retirement accounts "
the familly passenger car
of elder income provision
totally superior
to that amtrack like
mass transit
glander riden
diabetic megasaur
SSI
--------------------------------------------------
on this one
the elephant boys
are out for heads
they
don't just want
to streamline SSI
just keep it around
in a bottle some where
just
compact it
alter its rig
render it
unable to compete
for the lucrative "bits"
no
they leave
that nurse ratchet
lobotomy approach
to the jack asses
unlike postal delivery
for the GOP
there is no
good part
in the bad whole
of SSI
there
can not be
a taking away
for private profit
of " good stuff"
and a leaving behind
of
all the messy rest
nope:
there is no
air parcel post
portion
of SSI
no way
nope
the bitch is indivisible
this ATTACK
is about gettin
all
or
nothin at all
takin out
the whole ball of wax
----------------------------------------
if the GOP prevails here
and my crsytal ball sez prolly
SSI ain't about
to get
a simple
jack ass
close shave
and a buzz cut
no
signifigent
personel layoffs
no partial
spin offs
no
movement
to
last chance
"yer still public
but at arms length"
no
"yer on yer own"
no
"learn to float yerself"
nope
thats all
soft headed balder dash
SSI must gooooooooooo
why?
cause SSI
is too good to live
yes too good
too good
too efficient
too unlike amtrack
--------------------------------------
" no private outfit
can make a buck
so long as
the SSI is up there
to compete against"
so bye bye SSI
-----------------------------------------
best way
to make it go away
smear it
big lie the mother
claim she's exactly
what she isn't
claim she's
a financial amtrack
----------------------------------
there can be no chance
for SSI clones
MASS PUBLIC TRANSFER SYSTEMS
designed
for other areas
of social import
must get atomized now
before healthcare
provisioning
is contaminated
no way
if the elephant boys
have their way
ideas like
single payer health
will never
get to lift off
And
for the damn good reason
SSI
won't be around to spawn it
THE SSI clear superiority
must become an urban myth
to any and all
make way for the less
then even second best:
private profit
yielding
wall street alternatives
yes
listen up
grand kids
far
better or better still
we bury
SSI now
bury her
and
bury her quick
before innocent well meaning
folks
stupidly
get to wonderin'
its that
or
we all
have to go through
some thin'
like
what swedes go thru
( Eve II )
--------------------------------
(below is pure herb )
----------------------------------------
well pokes what go ya think?
should we fight em
on this
SSI giggle ?
FIGHT THE ELEPHANT WALK over ?
i say
nope
at least
not really hard anyway
why
a waste
the time and money
i say
if thats where they're headed
let em try
let em try rippin' up
what remains
of the post war
social contract
let em try
and
if they can
roll wagery
into a wall street
poker parlor
fine
let the geeps
play a dummy hand or two
hey
maybe you gotta
really feel the burn
before ya learn
let jerusalem fall
let the wally profiteers
destroy
the meany sweeney
temple of labor
our job
our task
our mission
remains the same
as pure uncircumcised
red wagery
stinkers
we

" Social Democracy, Anyone?"
by
J. Bradford DeLongdong
posting
on this tenth day
of december
in the year of our lord 2004
----------------------------------------
" Almost all of the world’s developed countries
consider themselves, and are, social democracies:
mixed economies
with very large governments
performing a wide array
of
welfare and social insurance functions,
and removing large chunks
of
wealth and commodity distribution
from the market."
The United States is something different.
Or is it?
Whatever it has been in the past
the United States
in the future
will have to choose
whether,
and how much,
it will be a social democracy.
------------no comment
beyond thiz :
so far
its like the arrival
at a card party
of a guy
blowin on a tuba -------------
---------------------------------------------------------
Once upon a time,
according to mythology at least,
America had little downward mobility
----unless you wre a red skin a mexican an african a ....---
In the generation after World War II
you could secure
a blue-collar unionized manufacturing job
or climb to the top
of a white collar bureaucracy
---------so much for the tewo great amerkan working klases----
that offered job security,
relatively high salaries,
and long, stable career ladders
--------------- nice tale ---------------------
This was always half myth.
----------thank u --------------
in the first post-WWII generation,
only a minority of Americans
a largely white, male minority
found well paying stable jobs
at large, unionized, capital-intensive
manufacturing companies like GM, GE or AT&T.
But if this story was half myth,
it was also half true,
--------------- no since its a male white minority
its decidedly less then half true-------------------------------
Largely independent
of
education or family,
those -------"some of those"----- Americans
who did value stability
and security could grasp it
in the form of jobs with “a future.”
Even for those not so lucky,
economic risks were usually fairly low:
the unemployment rate
for married men
during the 1960s averaged 2.7 percent,
and finding a new job
was a relatively simple matter.
------------- what a smooth ride ---------------------
It was during this era
roughly from 1948 to 1973
that sociologists found
that a majority of Americans
had come to define themselves
not as working class,
but as middle class.
--------------- a pre bunkerish
life of riley --------------------
-------------------------------
The post-WWII period
stands as a reference point
in America’s collective memory
----------- as well it might -----------------
but it was in all likelihood
an aberration.
-------------here comes the alibi for the reem ----------------
In the early postwar decades,
foreign competition exerted
virtually no pressure on the economy,
owing to the isolation
of
America’s continental market
from the devastation of WWII
---------- isolation?
try heavy export pal
with heavy foreign lending
in a global market
far from isolated
but where
you could only spend
the loan to buy yankee built shit by the way this ended be4 we got jfk -------------
At the same time,
the war left enormous pent-up demand
for the products of mass production
: cars, washing machines,
refrigerators, lawn mowers,
television sets and more.
------------ are u proposing
that we ain't got enough demand now ?-----------
Government policy back then
began with a permanent military program
of
spending and R&D
and continued
through massive public works program
and suburbanization,
underpinned by
the Federal Highway Program
and subsidized home ownership loans
from the Federal Housing Administration.
The regulatory institutions
and behavioral norms
that originated in the New Deal
and developed during WWII
came into full force:
Social Security,
a system of unionized labor relations,
market regulation.
---------- ie de facto asocial democracy ----------------------
Favorable macroeconomic circumstances,
the absence of foreign competition,
---------these were indeed temporary boons
but not irreplace able --------------------
a system of government support
and regulation,
---------------- maybe --------------------
large-scale private provision
of
what in Europe would have been
public social insurance
-------------more like half and half i'd say
but okay....------------
all combined to give post-WWII America
many of social democracy’s benefits
without the costs.
The economy did not stagger
under the weight
of ample benefits
or high taxes.
---------this is just non sense
taxes were highest
when this system worked best
in the late 40's -----------
Americans—at least white,
male Americans—
did not have to worry about
tradeoffs between security and opportunity
because the United States
offered the advantages of both.
Corporate welfare capitalism
substituted for what in Europe
would have been
government provided
social democracy.
---------here's an interesting contrast
corporate werlfare vs state welfare
long run diff
one's easier to take away -------------------
----------------------------------------------------
America was thus a special place.
It had its cake and ate it, too:
a combination of security
with opportunity and entrepreneurship.
---pure pie mush --------------
It seemed that this
was the natural order of things.
Hence there was little pressure
for government-sponsored social democracy:
Why bother?
What would it add?
Now things are very different.
The typical American employer
is no longer General Motors.
It is Wal-Mart.
------------ corporate welfare
requires different conditions
okay
but why assume state apparartuses
are any less
up for the chopping block
no deal with the kaps
officialstate promises
prperty rights
or private conscience
none of this shit
has any greater validity ----------- -------------------
Private businesses
are providing their workers
with less and less
in the form of defined-benefit pensions
, health insurance,
and other forms of insurance
against life’s economic risks.
-----ya but why ?---------------
Sharply rising income
inequality
has raised the stakes
of the economic game.
------------the cost of losing
a job yes but europe
has this worse then us
they went from lower unemployment rates
in our golden era
to higher ones now ---------------
A government that cannot balance
its own finances
cannot be relied on
to provide macroeconomic stability
-----------this is bald non sense
just another alibi
another " sorry love to help ya
but the last bunch fucked up so bad
i can't do a damn thing
but wish you well" ---------
Indeed, former chairman
of the U.S. Federal Reserve
Paul Volcker
sees the United States
as so macroeconomically vulnerable
as to be running a 75 percent chance
of a full-fledged dollar crisis
over the next several years.
--pure silly scare mongering shit -------------------
-----------------------------------------
The coming generation
will be one of massive downward mobility
for many Americans.
-----------that prophecy is true ---------------------
The political struggles
that this generates
will determine
whether America
will move more closely
to the social democratic norm
for developed countries
---------no
it means the end
of social democracy
every where in the first world
the end gone for ever
the state transfer system
as we have known it
for 60 yearstorn up
destroyed
that is the tower
boys deliberate

and the wagery of the first world

as any victorian nightmare

contradiction headed for explosion
as social democratic klass peace

shit this is wrong
or we're hurtin ourselves here too
nope
they don't play that --------------

and rationalize its existence

and deep divisions

how libs fudge
i made the serious mistake
of wafering out a piece
from the ny times resident
liberal economist
heres his true colors ......
==========================================
like most gliberal elite freaks
since at least the soup lines got too long
in 1931
he wants us
to as much as possible
remain employed
but he don't want us
to keep all our pay
we'll
just blow it on donuts
scratch cards and watered down brew
he's got plans
for
our pay
plans that
protect us from ourselves
from wall street
from communism from...
plans
to do us some real good .....
plans that
definitely
do not include
george the smaller's
SSI
"partial privatization" scheme
-----------------------------
welcome to the writing cabinet
of one
doctor paulius zzzzz krugmundt
of prinzstein I-versity
"Privatization
-----bush style -------
would begin
by diverting
payroll taxes
which pay for current
Social Security benefits
into
personal investment accounts.
-----lies foul tricksterish lies
the funds aren't
now
already a diversion
and you know this
you patch sleeved wank off
theres about
a trillion and a half
pay roll dollar
already flowed
out of
our pay stream to prove it
good honest work dollars
now inside
sucker central
fund 13
the one
full of low yield
aunt polly treasury notes --------
--------------
"The government,
already deep in deficit,
would have to borrow
to make up the shortfall"
---lie two by two
you cock slurping fuzz ball
uncle is already "borrowing"
that pay roll tax money
only its a dirty borrow now
a no choice
inside job borrow ...
at least the elephant boy george way
uncle would
have to
do theborrowing shit at arms length
right out there
on the open market
like he does
the rest of his borrowing
nice side light here:
according to the lady eve
this'll prolly raise
t-bill interest rates some
great let us geeps
in on that
right?
shit high rates?
why not uz for once ?
after all
other then uz payrolled fools
treasury shit's
for granny
and
super state
asian
market invaders
like the 4 aces
come on mamma
hows 'bout
a little extra taste
read on .... --------------------------
"This would sharply increase the government's debt"
--------lie
the total debt accumulation rate
only incresaes
above the present
set ups rate
if and when
uncle goes beyond
the present surplus
to fund the private accounts
and starts cuttin
into funds that otherwise
would
flow into theactual benefits pay out
ie cut into
the pay as you go portion
thats where the rubicon getz crossed
not before ------------
-------the quible here is over
who's owed
the change to private accounts
raises
uncle's external debt
not total debt
the diff
today the funds borrow
so uncle in essence only
owes himself
as things stand today
even though its our dollars
that is uz pay roll pay ins
dollars
doesn't matter
cause we
don't "own" our part
of the trust fund's T-notes
the way say
the asian 4 aces on theirs ------------------
" Never mind,
privatization advocates say:
in the long run,
people would make
so much on personal accounts
that the government
could save money
by cutting retirees' benefits"
--------------
kruggle iz usin
a self granted
speed pass here
lets slow him down
take it
frame by frame
here's the sequence:
imagine
two possible future amerikas
trust fund amerika
vs
private accounts amerika
in private accounts amerika
wage fools
are forced to invest
x % of their payroll
in corporate stocks
over the long haul
these stocks
yield a higher total return
then treasury notes
now lets flip to
trust fund amerika
there
the same identical flow out of payroll
goes into t-notes
over time
because of the yield differential
trust fund amerika
will have
a smaller
total pool of wealth
then
private accounts amerika
with its
superior growth stock investments
how much diff?
who cares
the diff whatever it iz
is a net gain
and the diff
goes to uz pay ins
one scenario:
in private accounts amerika
"somewhere down the road"
uncle cutz
back on benefits
paid out to retirees
from
the pay as you go
tax and transfer system
but this still leaves
these same retirees
better off
then they would be
if they'd travelled down time
as part of trust fund amerika -------------
--------------
lets turn this around:
for trust fund amerika
"somewhere down the road"
to deliver
the same total benefit payment
as private account amerika
can
uncle will have
to make up
the difference
between the pay out
from trust fund amerika's SSI
and the combined pay out
of private account amerika's
SSI AND PRIVATE ACCOUNTS
how?
by upping
pay as you go transfers
i.e.
by increasing
payroll taxes
at that point in time
or (heaven forbid)
by making additional
general borrowings -------------------
"if personal investment accounts
were invested in Treasury bonds,
this whole process
would accomplish precisely nothing
The interest workers
would receive
on their accounts
would exactly match
the interest the government
would have to pay
on its additional debt
To compensate
for the initial borrowing
the government would have
to make "
---------------absolutely correct
but so the fuck what
no one proposes this
except i like it
cause
at least this way
with the t-notes
in our private accounts
not uncle's
general trust funds
the shits
our property
now
our cookies
in uncle's jar
and our claim on it
is covered
only by uncle's promises
not our rights of property
all this
krug will show......------------
" the government
can cut future benefits
so workers
gain nothing at all"
--- nor lose anything
either
except the slight cost
of maintaining the digital records
of the individual accounts
(that is besides as pointed out above
the higher interest income
now earned on all t -notes
cause
full free market floats
will up uncles
interest rates)
notice what garble
he pulls us thru here
its a sick little
montee shuffle
showing us a plan no one proposes
and constructing it
so it wouldn't
be more
then a wash
fuck thiz
why has a rbright guyz
esorted to such a lame
fast finger hocus pocus deal?
who's conned here?
forget the shit pal
no way
to hide
the real content
of your " lie tortured intentions "
if need be
here's the deal
simpler put :
yes
assuming only treasury notes
in private accounts
makes the deal
not very useful
if you also assume
a dollar for dollar cut
in benefits
cause the end products
are the same
(that is again
potentially
but what if uncle goes a different way
as things now stand
what if
uncle fucks
with the pay outs
from the trust fund
he has ways
he wouldn't
have with issued t-notes)
fine butfuck...
there's more
thats the point
all things are not equal
the aggregate growth rate
of the private accounts will exceed
the trust funds
and
potentially
by a whole lot ...
oh another huge missing point here
all dollars taken
out of the payroll
tax
that flow
into these private accounts
can not be
subject
to tricky redistributions
from one pay- in -er
to another pay- in- er
no
low pop higherin
and
high pop lowerin
lets boost all poor guyz
welfare
type redistributions
i find it grand
that the glibberal fudge pots
most often
as krug does here
refuse
to mention
the present system
does a fair bit of redistribution
"well
uz liberal's
don't need to tell all
cause we always
do whats
"for yer own good"
why tell ya
what you would
only harm yerfellow man
by knowing
and selfishly
acting apon"
gotta love
the humane patron's
" smuck's oblige" here
nope
can't let the hoi
in on this
redistribution bizz
fuck no
well jack asses
watch out
the elephants may
spill the beans on ya
if you push em far enough
they may take down the whole system
then watch out clara bell
yer dear little
poor guys
will really
be shit out of dimes
fuck you
and all your elite
dirty dealing
all yer rigin the deck
all you do and been
doing
out of high sanctimony
since
at least
the 30's
fuck
all this
"dull green eye shade
do gooder peculation"
you 've
pulled off
behind
" your seemy
dancing vail
of popular ignorance "
lets hope
all this shit inside SSI
will get aired out
once and for all ---------------
----------------------------------
sorry
i'll
right back to krug...
"How, then, can privatizers claim
that they could secure
the future of Social Security
without raising taxes
or reducing the incomes
of future retirees? "
----------- see the switch here
he's just shown "a wash "
and now he's claiming
it isn't a wash
or shouldn't be a wash
or can't really be a wash
how ?
well by non sequitor
or maybe to be fair
by dragging in
out of no where
the entirely seperate issue
of
the post 2018
short falls
in pay as you go
what sloppy panicky lazy
bull shit ---------
" By assuming that workers
would invest most
of their accounts in stocks
that these investments
would make a lot of money"
-----watch this rug pull------
"and that, in effect,
the government,
not the workers,
would reap most of those gains,
because as personal accounts grew,
the government could cut benefits"
-------need i comment
on this slippery glide by ---------
" in essence, such schemes
involve having the government
borrow heavily
and put the money
in the stock market
and then
have the government
confiscate
the benefit of
these workers' gains
in their personal accounts
by cutting those same workers'
tax and transfer benefits
dollar for dollar "
------
first off
i tampered with krug here
to make his point
cause he cut his own dick twice sword dancing
and he deserves better ..
but
"borrow heavy"
vut
again vid dah borrowing krug
shit we see through dis krug
yer fucking scare krieg don't woik
only
if and when
uncle cuts
into
the requirements
of pay
as you go
to fill the private accounts
will he be borrowing more
under the private accounts system
then under the present system
i haven't seen a plan yet that even gets that far so whos to say
bush won't
say okay we take only the surplus
with a sub voce
"for now heh heh heh heh.... "---------
----- now as to krugs
gains off set
by cutting benefits
sure he's right
but this leaves room
maybe plenty of room
for a geeper gain anyway
christ
thats simple addition subtraction
krug
here you
are pretending
7+3-2 = 6 or at best 7
shame on you noughty boy
maybe you are a rogue after all
cause
thats exactly
the kind of shit you accuse bush of ------------------
"Once you realize
that privatization
really means government borrowing
to speculate on stocks,
it doesn't sound too responsible,
does it? "
--------what none sense
who better to take risks..
the government
with its taxing power
and its credit line
can ride out any flux
borrow to smooth payment flows
etc etc etc
not here but else where
you even hear doubts
about the real
long run return
being higher on stocks
(in fact best estimates
have it
something like
publicly traded
corporate stocks 6 %
real annualcompounded yield
vs
uncle's bonds 3.5% )
and of course
this is so
the return
on uncle's bonds
are rock bottom rates
they define safety
nothing is so low
over the long haul
every other
legitimate security category
will out perform t notes
because if nothing else
-as krug points out-
they each carry the burden
of greater risk
but here's where krug lies
and i mean lies
like a hong kong
jade dealer
uncle
far from being
a candidate for risk avoider
is the best of all
possible legitimate risk takers
he's the ultimate
long haul deep pocket
best
credit guy
uncle buying risk
and spreading it out
over all of us
thats the best game in town
by this indirection
by going thru uncle
we can socialization
the shitwe can't handle as civilians
interestingly
if a slight off set
by pumping all these
"new dollars" into stocks
the elephants
would prolly
suceed
in reducing the return
on corporate stocks
while
at the same time
the implied out flow
of funds
from uz suckers'
sequestered treasuries
wil be raising rates
on t- bills
i.e.
this plan should
make "the spread"
less
--------------
"
the details make
it considerably worse.
First, financial markets would,
correctly,
treat the reality
of huge deficits today
as a much more important indicator
of the government's fiscal health
than the mere promise
that government could save money
by cutting benefits
in the distant future."
------ ginkers
read whats comin up
carefully its grand stuff-----------
"After all,
a government bond
is a legally binding
promise to pay
while a benefits formula
that supposedly cuts costs
40 years
from now
is nothing more
than a suggestion
to future Congresses."
------------ really nice krug
better then my version
not even a "promise"
its a mere
"a suggestion"
beautiful
but you dingo
this is ammo for the other side
not yours
you wiggle woggle pipe stem
start
tell the hoi
their trust fund
is less then a promise
something that don't
even need to be broken
to be fucked
tell em
that their pay ins
really aren't
theirs
some day
unless congress feels in the mood
and they'll want
to tear up the whole system
fuck take back
the surplus
fuck abolish the whole deal
fuck the old shits yer on yer own
i made it i'll spend
and now
while its still worth something
want yours back to
old timer
try gettin from the dead ass holes
you supported
cause from now on
mine ain't yours
yup far from forced savings plans
we'll have
a spend it now plan
spend it
before its stolen
by politicians
down the road
shit
with chatter
like that
you're not
workin
to can
the private accounts scheme
you're workin
to can just
what
you're trying to defend ----------
---to be fair
okay so your agitated
i know theres a fast one
under way here
wall street's
ever so none suchery
is out to pick
a few hundred million pockets
okay
but fuck
kruggy
keep yer wagon
on the trail here
you are deain out
the elephants
own cards
this property vs promise shit
is exactly
what george's stooges
kall home base
if you mean what you say
and
i'm sure as aconflicted brainy
decent liberal twit
you both do and don't
then face the dark side here
the elephants
are right
about the SSI
trust funds
they
contain
the loot
taken with
brakeable
promises
and that don't work
so well
in the mind of
a lot of regular folks
as
temporarily
tied up funds
with their name on em
that are
investible
for a higher return
okay
so you know
how to use
the bush big lie
when it works for ya
but this one
works
even better
against ya dopey --------------
------- and you go on...-------------
" Social Security rules aren't immutable:
in the past, Congress has changed things
like the retirement age
and the tax treatment
of benefits.
If a privatization plan passed
in 2005 called for steep benefit
cuts in 2045,
what are the odds
that those cuts would really happen?"
------- wow here the whole thing flowers
into the feed me plant from
little shop of horrors .....
i can hear the stampede
"gib me back
my fuckin pay ins"
" bust open
the trust funds
uncle
return our dough
we wanta
go back to
pay as ya go "
really krug don't fight the feeling here
this can get only worse
if ya fight em
hey they're smart
they'll
hit ya where you pray
what are you gonna say
if they counter with...
calvinism
what if behind the hand
the wally boyz nuncios
say to ya
"krug come on
its a sugar shack
way to up
the forced savings rate "-------
----------------------------
" If Mr. Bush were to say
in plain English
that his plan
to solve our fiscal problems
is to borrow trillions
put the money into stocks
and hope for the best
if he were to announce
that
any such system
of personal accounts,
would mainly be
an indirect way
for the government
to speculate
in the stock market
and
would lead to
huge brokerage fees
then
everyone would denounce
the plan
as the height
of irresponsibility
---------really ?
why ?
cause you just said so ?
this is hysterical
-----okay so now the street
with its fees
plus uncles pay out cut
off sets
takes
away any poor slubs
up side
good
then the geeps
will buy
your fucking aunt polly wog
treasury bonds
next time won't they
and be no worse off
in the after life
then they are now
financially
except
for the cost
of a good lesson
in wall street manners
something
maybe worth ten times more
then the lost dough
cause they got
the streets number -----------
-------at any rate
why wish for
such bad spin
you'll never get ?
krug
you know
instead
they'll say
"iwe're not
gonna let
uncle use
your hard earned
payroll
to create a tax surplus
nopenot any more
we got a better way
from now on
if uncle can't balance
his budget
he'l l
just have to
borrow the short fall
else where
cause iwe're givin'
you all back
your own money
to invest in
high yield stocks
givin it back
for your own
damn fine benefit
not let uncle
soak ya
like a damn fool
to fill the hole
in his goo goo built deficit "
how you gonna answer that
in street english boy ? ---------------
"The fact that this plan
has an elaborate disguise,
one that would add considerably
to its costs, makes it worse."
-------interesting point
speaking of elaborate and costly disguises
thats
a real nice way
of describing
capitalism's
very own core scam
the private profit
exploitation system
itself is just that sort
of false mustacheoed
alias blarney regan
rip off transfer system ---------
======================================
-----final jimbaree
yoodle
" folks its really
a win win
we offer ya here
an
increase

forced

not only
does this mother
help your own future
it
helps your country too

with yer money
here gang look

lord jesus
right when
we need her most
lets all
bind ourselves
to freedom's
full throttle future
make
uncle
cough
back up
some of our
ever belowering

so we can
build ourselves
a one way swag
a
fully
salvation ready
force
fed future
freedom portfolio

basis
so
highly individualized
so custom cut

and your investments begin
just work till. yer xyz
and
then bango

in perfect freedom

with all the canonic
florishments
all the wool dyed
values
of havin and holdin
all
we deem
to be self evident
rock of ages
tit tested
rights and privileges
yes
thats the plain unvarnished facts
you got in one
wall street
hand packed bindle
all the fancy
life's fond end game
surprise fixins
we call america's
way to terminal happiness
yes
full figured
ownershippppppp
big time
wall street

gilt edged

securitized
funga-billy
spawn doolickicated
spendable glee
yes indeed
pal 'o mine
with this here
water tight plan
you get
the property
the whole property
and nothin but
the property
yours only
in toto
yours for ever and a day
past the casket
and thru the moonbeams
--------------------------
not to be too negative here
lets end on
as sweet a chord as possible:
i suggest
we fix the pay as you go
y raising the taxable base
to cover all comp
for labor services
ie ceo's total comp too
yes go
all the way
exercised options
bonuses
defered pay etc etc etc
my guess
right now
theres
a couple trill
more out there
to pull into
the tax and transfer system
get at all of it
then cut the flat rate
to a pay as you go level
as for the pay in to pay out ratio
problem
which is headed from 3.5 to 1
all the way down to 2 to 1
well show
the folks the path
and
leave it up to them
to decide whats best
if they want to increase productivity
the only real way
you can
iz by inventin better machines
and
building more of em
to pay for it all
set up a forced savings fed
social
investment plan
out of all forms of income
of course
not just wages
and while we're at it
what if uncle
did just
what krug calls
a no no
what if he
did the thing striaght up
took the forced social savings
and invested them all
in risky production
enhancing operations
like he did to fight
world war two
invest
not in paper stocks
but good old department one
and directly
not thru
the goose noose
candy land stup
not thru
that fucking wall street
paper mill
that
purports to be
an owner share system
lets build up
the production base of
amerika the mighty
straight off
step one
lets start
with the whole
pay roll tax surplus flow
whats that a 100 - 200 bills per year?
oh and lets
turn
the 1.5 trillionin the funds
back to their rightful owners
as personal accounts
holding zero coupon
dated bonds
and lets sieze
the banks
and fry all university presidents
and
dance naked with hand guns

the soto case

==========================
---------------------------------
" Gilberto Soto,
an organizer
for the International Brotherhood
of Teamsters,
was assassinated November 5
in El Salvador,
where he was building links
with Central American port workers."
"Soto was killed by two gunmen
outside his mother's house in Usulutan,
60 miles from the capital city of San Salvador."
"He was an organizer
with the Teamsters Port Division
in New Jersey
and had spent the last several years
in a campaign to organize port workers,
mostly drivers, in the Northeastern U.S."
he began working
with the Danish General Workers Union
to document violations
of worker rights by Maersk,
one of the largest shipping companies
in the world."
"Maersk has a long
and rotten record
in El Salvador."
"Soto had just arrived in El Salvador
to begin his organizing work
when he was assassinated."
" He had planned meetings
with port workers
who drive trucks for Maersk,
and with labor officials
in Nicaragua,
El Salvador and Honduras."
"The Teamsters,
along with
the International Longshoremen's Association
and
International Longshore and Warehouse Union,
have offered a $75,000 reward
for information leading
to the arrest and conviction
of Soto's killers."
"Maersk controls
80 percent
of the container shipping market
in El Salvador."
" in el salvador
there are plenty
of well known death squads
that carry out this
type of killing "
"however
their near untouchability

Soto's killers will be arrested "
" The death squads
in El Salvador

"Soto emigrated to the U.S.
from El Salvador
in 1975
He was an active supporter

National Liberation Front"
"He was also active in
the Committee in Solidarity
with the People of El Salvador
(CISPES)"
" in 1993
Soto became
the first Latino president
of a Teamster local
in New Jersey "
"Soto was one day short
of his 50th birthday
when he was assassinated,"
" he leaves behind a wife
and three children."

WAGE RATES: MAX THE MIN
hey
the citizens
of florida and nevada
both upped their state minimum wage
by
overwhelming votes in popular referenda
and we're told
in those very same
voting booths
at that very same time
george bush won
slim majorities
lets follow the bouncing ball here....
red state people
want a decent wage for everyone
i say lets let em all vote on a cola link...
below
i've posted
part of something i found
on the web
----------------
" what gives here ?
the elephant house
with its
moral majority
has given
itself a cost-of-livin
pay raise
for the past five
years in a row
and yet
at the same time
it's
allowed
the federal minimum wage
to
fall to where
minimum-wage workers
today are worse off
than they were in 1954 ?
by the way
in terms of what it can buy
the federal minimum
peak in 1968
if it
had just been
cola-ed back then
indexed to inflation
it would be
almost $7 an hour now
( the last increase
back in 97
brought
the federal minimum wage
to $5.15 )
$ 5.15
is now less than
one-third
of the average hourly wage
of American workers
the lowest level since 1949
If the federal minimum wage
were increased to $7 an hour
at least 7 and a half million workers
would receive a wage boost "
-------------------------------
the course is clear
lets start
a cola movement
state by state
fuck the congress
ask the people
to decide .....

whats my take?
reuther and hoffa
were about to pull off something big
so the good boy reuther
got liquidated

phase two
after jimmy got sprung
they killed him too

------- FINALY ---------
The right to organize
and bargain collectively
became
recognized internationally
and domestically
as a fundamental human right
in the 1930's and 1940's.
------- jesus now its the old jim crow analogy ------------
That right's codification
in this country in 1935
in the Wagner Act
led to the creation
of the modern American
middle class
------- those rights were wrested from
not voted in
who the fuck are u
to pretend
the present klass management
of the state
recognizes rights ? ----------------
The evisceration
of that right
over the last 25 years
has contributed greatly
to the pressure
on
and the shrinking
of
that same middle class.
--------- see the silly jim crowing of wagery story here
its like 1935 was 1865
and 1946 was 1876
and today 70 years later
2004 is like 1934
whoops nope we're in deeper shit

this may not be
very jim crowish
In independent polling,
more than 40 million
working
people say
that they would form
a union tomorrow

Imagine if even
a fraction of
those workers

and improving
the living standards

------so smarmy

we're about

the communities well being
this is fulsome fig leafery at its belowest level

of a union struggle
inside a non union majoritarian wAGE community
what an insult
u can't fuckin
tip toe past this
or thru it either
wage community envy
of union driven "premium pay"
u gotta
face the fucker head on dip ----------------
Unfortunately,
when workers do form unions
to win
affordable health care,
job safety standards
and a say
in their working conditions,
--------my god
we're not after raisin pay
and lowerin hours
jesus u cat food eatin mee- yow-- yow ------------
employers routinely
violate
this fundamental human right
by using
harassment,
intimidation,
and even illegally firing
workers.
-------even illlegally firing ...
who'd u say
this communique's for cuffy?--------
It has gotten so bad
that even Human Rights
Watch
- an internationally respected
human rights
organization -
called the denial
of the freedom
to form unions
in the United States
a fundamental human rights
problem.
----- well i'll eat a donkeys pecker!!!--------
We need to bring
this fight
to our communities,
and
build coalitions
to put pressure on employers
who
frustrate the will
of workers
when they attempt
to form
a union.
------- aahh the community
how about usin the lady eve's
walmart parkin lot
"you folks need a union here pins "
for the entering shoppers ?
how about the pitch
these below wages and no health payments
cost you shoppers
more then u save
besides the profit take
any lower price
goes out the window else where
thru a higher share on your shoulders
of local
health costs
school cost
state and local taxes
etc etc etc --------------
It is critical
that wherever and whenever
an
employer attempts
to violate
the rights of its workers
that a broad coalition
of allies is there to hold them
accountable.
------- pure air balls
give a hammer shot soecific tactic type
for instance will ya cuffle butt ------------
In addition,
we need to let our
legislators know
from both sides
of the aisle
that they
must take a position
in support
of the Employee Free
Choice Act,
-------mother of pearl mesta
teddy cross bridge's cudddle toy?
please cuff that wouldn't do shit and you know it
try a federal wage cola and double pay over time provision -------
federal legislation
that would reduce many
of the grueling obstacles
workers currently face
when
they seek to form a union

we cadre
have got only our selves
to blame for our failure

Already more than 208
Members of Congress
and 37 Senators back
this worker
friendly legislation.
----- yes its soo worker friendly
it will never pass
in its present form -------
It is critical
that the progressive community
takes on
this issue as its own fight
-----what issue the friendly kongress
be kind to wagelings act ?
or this whole shit slide above here? ---------------
it
---- it ? what it ? ----------
is a comprehensive effort
that brings together
so many
issues important to us:
affordable health care,
----- affordable ?
where did you make that move
i see an attempt to shift it not reduce it ?-----
strengthening homeland security,
------what
you got to betryin'
to bean me here snuffy -----------
protecting social
security,
addressing poverty,
and finding a remedy
against all forms
of discrimination
in the workplace
------ what about writing while sleep walking ----------
We must remember
that our best defense
is a strong
offense.
--------yes cuff
at long last yes
so now u got the word
captain cream cuff
why don't ya
take your huge slow
sweaty defensive ass
and plank it down
on some fuckin pine
let the offense
get out there on the field
for a change
will ya
brother ------------------
Restoring the freedom
to form unions
ties so
many of the issues and values
we care about together
--------- restoring the unions
to where they were in 1946

and we got to do that ourselves ----------
