               have rejoiced

now the mighty  mao ites
                   must move

is perhaps simpler then it may seem

the maoists  have no choice

              they must press ahead agressively ahead

                   call 
                   for a people's revolutionary interim government 
                       formed  by a grand alliance   
                               of all people's parties 

followed asap by
nation wide  elections 
         to  a new consitutional assembly  

that's all fluff and feathers

its the pre condition that counts



  sine  qua non

  the king must go ....total abdication

there can be no temporizing
   no compromising
         with a  cowed  tyrant  

  out

leave now 

period 

that can not be negotiable 

and his bloody handed
       royal army  must renounce the king
and
its  own  past acts of popular repression 

renounce them 
  and declare  hence forth 
    its  total loyalty
         to the people's will alone

if the officer corps will not move

the rank and file must
    rebel 
 arrest their officers as traitors  
   and declare for
                    the  people                              

  if the parlor parties ignore
 such an  exceedingly clear headed 
and i suspect "popular" call
                 by the  maoists

if .. the bulk of em
prove to be
   pusilanimous cads 
as they   may well prove 

if  
they 
 try to act las if in their hearts
 they believe  the impossible:

 believe that the nation
  can  go back to the world 
           before the king's coup de main 

then
  the maoists  will face no choice
               but 
             to  resume the  armed struggle  
and maintain the armed struggle 
so long as 
  the  royal power 
       to demolish 
  any people's  democratic process  
                     remains intact


(and  with out the shadow of a doubt
 this power not only to menace but destroy 
the people's power
will remain intact  
until the king  is gone
and his royal army 
 effectively  demobilized  rectified 
                         and  reformed .....

                   until...  as it were ....
               the royal army
                        morphs  into
                            a people's army 

otherwise 
who's fooling who here

the  next royal coup  
    is only 
a matter of the king's 
            best calculation

as a practical matter
  the notion of a   grand alliance 
of all the people's parties 
               should stay on the table 
              and the armed conflicts restrained 

if trust 
  is to be broken
let the parlor cats 
be the one's
 to betray  the present  national solidarity 

let us wait and see

if  a new wave of civil demonstrations 
rises out of 
 the  present jubilance at
 the king's cave in 

there must be a fair chance
 as the masses 
turn back  to  reality 
they'll see  the king's  
         undeminished power
staring at them 
  out of ever pair of  royal soldiers' eyes 


and the key task stil undone

the demos may well resume

" topple the king    now 


or lose all we've gained  "

        tramping  feet

               the people  are not fooled

then abdication

they  want their " king"

                             but  gone


if they do 
 the  opportunistic majority
of the  parlor parties 
will be forced 
to  demand  immediate abdication also 

or

 see the maoists seize
 all the political high ground and ultimately
 all the political power

then again 
if the people give a victory  cheer now
   but go home and don't come back out later
 cause to them its time to return to their own lives
   after all  
  " tyrany has been averted"

the parlor parties will 
commence 
 the  re walling off job 

they'll 
start 
 excluding the maoists 
 and threatening 
re marginalization 
if  the arms aren't dropped 
if they don't join the electoral process
if they don't check there testicles 
                at the door 

count on it

the parlorians  will 
                bait the maoists

  " here take our  peace (surrender) loaf 
                  
we've  
        baked   it with  sweet dreams 

(  and  hee hee
  with  poison  dough  )

the people subside
as well they might 

without further stark proof
the king is not de fanged 

if the maoists can not rally the masses to their demand

the kings immediate abdication 
and  the royal army's total  rectification 

   the revolution in arms 
will have 
no choice but to  return 
to the full fathom
of         the  violent bloody   struggle
                       
 tout force

  and 
  plan for the  next  crisis
