jobster amerika's value added 
has risen  plenty fast enough 
over the last thirty years
     to pay for what we all  buy
for ourselves as householders 

but wages haven't kept up
     with the growth 
              in  value 
                of what we produce 

so the profiteers  who
have extracted the  growing diff
  lend us back part
            of the value 
         of what we produce
 so we can  buy the rest of what we want 

and the boss press calls this system

"living beyond our means "
