why we need more price comp in college tuition

this year is the year pinky
declares war ....on universal non prof
                               outfits

like  boo boo christ colleges 
  and local  hospitals  

(i'd get them church estates too if i could )

all these straw dogs of respectible burgerdom
  are 
  the needless 
    rip off  of  by  and for 
              mittelstand amerika 

with palooka joe taking to much of the punch

lets start with some random policy shots
aimed at the college campussy crowd :

numero uno
end the  de facto tuition pricing 
                             and packaging conspiracy 
as in 

end mandatory residency
end manditory in house course  credits shares

make all credits common currency 
throughout  the"accredited"  us system
and with no discounting

  ----- speaking of accreditdation 
bad spellers get a pass since spell check exists ---

end excessive degree granting  programs 
and the proliferation of colleges
dis credit em 
not to scarcify the degree holder pop 
no 
at the same time wildly  
up 
 per program enrollment 

while we're at it lets go attila here 
and simply 
end all forms and sizes 
of  public underwriting 
of  bo hunk private college facilities 

but also 
end the blah blah blah subsidy of the swill state campuses 
make em scrap 
end tenure at state schools

"whats your union for boyz and girlz"


talk about unaccountable ....

what good was it 

academic freedom
bull 

sure it means unremovable
for ideas and acts 
ya sure 
 except those your campus peers 
find offensive 

if  your smelly
to the rest of the outfits
                 faculty  horde

like a red was in the fifties 
tenure is 
just a treaty with an indian 


so lets 

drive  about 6000 excess
private  liberal arts colleges
out of business   over the next ten years 

starve em out 

but meanwhile  
way way up 
the   household means tested  
scholarships

 
marginal tuition prices 
 are not effected by scholarships 

what keeps colleges non competitive
is a de facto no price comp agreement among
  "peer outfits"

harvard/ yale 

boston u/ new york u 

make em scrap like 
the 
beef and  bun skill tech 
          strip center set ups scrap 

those for profit night crawlers 
serve their students 
while turning a profit 

- i hasten to add this ever growing goon show
runs on gubmint loans 
which means pay more get less

sound neo liberal ??

at the margin ii'm not

but this deep internalized rot spot

yup

if you want to reform

eradicate useless gauntlet systems of candidate winnowing 

but as to price 
unless the student feels the pinch....

 has more then getting
 that sheepskin in mind

but who's that ???

        long as we keep the numbers down 
             to an auditable level 
                        

do this and much more of the same ilk

and watch the three pig college corps
turn out itself
and by
 out bid after out bid 
eat each other alive 
withupping the  scholarship grants 
trying to get top applicants 
while maintaining higher marginal tuitions
