bless all the beasts and fuckin price shop-ers

   yes
but for the ass
who price compares
we'd all pay more ..

======================================

now some of u know
my present station
in the purgative spiral
      is selling over priced
swedish mattresses

       well needless to say
we get alot of

"wow that much eh?"

but hey they can't find it for less..

                    not anywhere

these particular
swedes got a fixed price regime
                               goin for em

all over north amerika

no shop can cut under
                         any other shop

thats in the dealer license....

but else where product wise
          thats not usually true

usually theres
 posted or tag price dispersion

and often serious
        price differentiation
            or discrimination
                        (air line fares )

most household shoppers
can get a price brake by...
loookin around
or better yet
            calling around

these gad -flies
create not only bargains
                     for themselves

but third party improvements
for the rest of uz

--------------------------------------------

dealers not only cut prices
one by one
           to match
                the competition
( new car dealers)

but actually lower posted prices

to catch a few more
            "silent ' walk out
                         price shoppers

--------------------

how many price shoppers does a market need ?

to get at that shit
 is obviously
gonna take u
 into pretty exact
                   numbers

dealer heads must be broken open entered

they see price cmp
and now
they get into trade offs here

elasticities enter into the algorithims
         as they always must

 my posted price cuts
may nicelly
increase
my unit sale

but enough ?

hey 13x 15 = 15x13
and 13x15 > 16x11

get me pal?

theres an unknown
most often
          unknowable relationship
operatin here

 dealer pricing
all comes down to
             hidden price /quantity functions

happy or fatal
these numerical functions
will play out

dealers guess at them

often call
their good moves
a sixth sense
not
    dumb luck

and their bad ones
        " a roll of the dice "

but

(except
under fairly unreasonable
shopper/dealer
       conditions)

                   this should mean
                               we amateur
we "i'll take yer word for it "
                                                   shop-ers
                                      all do a little better

---------------------------------------------------------------------

hey these price hornets
buzzin all around
if they produce
  lower posted prices.....

bravo !

ithey're given
              a free ride
  to the rest of us

all of us
    "in general
first stop i buy it "
                                         rubes
