greater limits on diversity 
globally
if not locally 

at one point in time
within one product category 
there are less and less varieties
up to stage where the flowering of diversity re-emerges 
quality control 
and 
innovation 
are both  powered 
by this escape from the ordinary motive 

and its all part
 of 
the quest for super profits

yes profit max 
leads to  constant change 
thru time

some is real innovation 
some eye  wash
