now that its about to be out in the open for all to see will the huge "small invester oriented" stock funds start using their voting power to curb "insider abuse " at amerika's leading public " corporations" ? ========================= well thanks to Bush's SEC AS OF NEXT WEEK the big mutual stock funds will be required to disclose their company by compnay voting activities so at least whatever the fuck it is their doing with all their "maybe for real" power it 'll finally be on the public record --------------------------------------- the first question will the fuckers need to vote different now its all public ? my guess prolly they will "consider it" second question will it make any difference even if they do? lets hope so but fuck i doubt it ------------------------------- at any rate should little green thumbed and other goo goo parson bleech types start visiting the big mutual fund stock vote web sites ? can't hurt these arrogant fucks despite my guess that for the sake of the virgin mary and all else thats holy they'll fudge up a progressive fandango i sure as shit may be dead wrong christ first they may try screwing their two bit geep investors right out in public at least till they're burned seriously for it and why should they be ? ------------------------------- ( oh be4 we continue here guess what else pokes union funds got to disclose their votes on stock pension fund holdings too ) ( feature that.... " hey what the fuck's this vote here supposed to mean ehhh how bout it senior Sterno ?" ) ---------------------------------- back to the fundz so what if they don't just shrug it off what if they don't take a "who'll give a shit"attitude what if they don't follow the stand pat option say they push hard for outside stockholders value max in the long run will anything change ? will more of the extracted surplus move all the way down the slurry to the little fry at the far end ? geeeeezzz don't bet on it remember pinky's law the insiders will take whats comin to em some how believe me that law is solid and as to the funds managers gettin it in the neck anyway if they do continue to openly play footsy well when ever sunshine in ' make it public' cure alls get proffered up i'm reminded of our democratically elected U S house of representatives notice if you will the guilded age when all those bought and paid for Reps ranged like wild boar thru the halls of congress they all had their votes right out there on the record too --------------------------------------------- besides to get back on track here don't you think most chigger sized investors are greed-need heads anyway don't you figure they'll wanna invest their loot where they think their measily microscopic sliver of the great capital fungus will grow the fastest won't they try finding the growth king and leave it at that ? and are growth kings likely to care about how whats done gets done ? --------------------------------- bottom line; and recall folks this is my guess now only don't take it as gospel these big boy mutual funds ain't got much to orry about even if the fuckers invest in gold mine stocks and suddenly get caught voting back in a management team that re introduced small child forced labor and bull whips to their mines cause most " small investors" only got one question " ya but will it give me a faster growth rate?" ------------------------------------ on the other hand as part of the highly visible SEC led klean up the tower suites project this may look nice and squeeky especially after so many of these dens of squalor were so recently and at long last caught letting packs of timing bandits make millions using the funds as dummy hands then again even if nothing for nothing as usual leaves nothing at all disclosure of votes at least gives the runts some thing else to sqwack about don't it? ============================-Posted by pinky at August 29, 2004 05:44 AM
