addison returns?



    kin the  late 70's ride agin?


   he was addison to
   my trailin dickie steele

   madison to my tres plump dolly

   and maybe he's back 


 


  its been years since
   we rode out together  

   one needs conjuner
   another time indeed 

     the maoite backwash
     sum uz leftoids
   swum thru
    back  
   in  the late 70's

   this prose dancer
   and punditater
   was my scribble pard
   and sharp struggle
    sharpener 

   fearless as well as 
    stylish

   once "in my very presence"
   the man 
    defied a great police horse

   " gist try tramplin me
    ya brutish nag"

    a ferocious chaser
    of street actions
   tumble ups 
   and such

   occasions fer courage 
   that yer
   pinkster fled
    or ducked
   or slept passed


   and he was indeed
   the  bold right arm 
   of the only great man
   either of uz ever
    worked with

   well 
   unlike elvis

   he lives!
