seize the refineries

   we're told

   there's a
    refinery shortage
    brewin'

   today

   these
    good old
   united states
   contain

   150 refineries

   and
   we''re told

   they're
   all puffin away
    at "practical'
    capacity

   interestingly

   there
   hasn't been
    a new refinery
   built here
    in 25 years

   some thing stinks

   i say

   lets seize em all
   and
    find out
    what 's up

   =====================

   federal
   seizure?

    childs play really

   all we gotta do
   is

   pass
    a clean
    output
   standard

   so reasonable
   so sane

   that
   the profiteers
    quit the game

   no more
    of this
   fool's compromise
   take it in the can
   ostrich shit

   set a standard
   for once
    the globe
    can actually live with

   one
   that finally
    comes down
    on the future's
    side
   of any
   scientific
     margin
   of error

   do it

   and brothers
   and
   sisters
    watch
   the profit chasers
   desert
   those old rusters
   of theirs
   in a coney island
   second
   ===============

   it involves
   a simple two step

   step 1
   congress
    criminalizes violations

   (violation leads to abandonment)

   step 2
    abandonment
   leads to imediate
   federal seizure....
   ============================

   they say
   we got a capacity squeeze?

   wellfuck

   if the tower boyz
    say they can't
    make enough money
    to build
   new ones anymore

   what with all
   the red tapes
    and
    green trimmings

   well
   maybe uncle
   can
   get the job done

   lets find out

we can always sell em back
   to wall street
     if we decide to
