Iraq in tres partes

 part one

 like ancient Gaul
Iraq is a real three piecer

kurds
 Shiites
 and Sunnis

and at least the kurds and shiites
got good national claims

and best part
they hate each other
as bad
as say those
fucking loony Balkan clowns

so we can imagine
 horrible
amounts of savage fightin
 and fragmentation
 given
a laissez aller afterlife

if uncle actually
topples Papa Saddam

  yes
once trouble finds
 a head of steam
  super heavy duty shit
could
“ be blowin round ”

and i mean
round
as in
the whole fuckin entire
arab oil hood blowin windy
my brothers

----------------------------------
so bottomline
come a topple time
if oil as usual obtains

 can’t be no
 laissez aller outcome

if Bush takes us in
we Aint
 comin out
anytime soon

if we’re in
then we’re in

yes
in one form or other
we’re in
 for the whole ride
from Saddam to
push button civilization

and
my guess
 if prez B 2
 don’t know it
 Count Cheney
 sure does
-----------------------------------------
part one
the kurds

HERE'S the
easy piece first

the kurds

the Iraqi hunk of the self billed
“ world's largest stateless people ”
-------------------------------
every one knows
 the Pole like
sad sack story
of the kurdish people
all 25 million of them
scattered over 4 countries

and in particular
of Iraq’s
kurdish region
sitting there up north
of bagdad
like a dusty
skull cap
and
how Saddam has tortured
 gassed and generally dicked over
  these stateless folk

 beyond being different
which they suffer from area wide
in iraq
they’re unfortunate enough
to be sitting on oil reserves

oil reserves
SADDAM
WANTS
 FOR HIMSELF

in one interesting side light
 of desert storm
 Uncle saved their asses
back in 91

uncle after croaking
Saddams armour
created a no fly zone
and ever since
we yanks have flown
sky cover over head

-------------------------------

and what's more
not only
 HAS UNCLE
 curbed Saddam
 to the kurd’s south
UNCLE
 also curbs
the Turkish menace
to the north

now obviously
the turk military elite
 are our allies
well
to be more precise
maybe they’re
more like our
pitbulls

defacto
come crunch time
we can reign em in
or unlease em

what a luxury

take my word
 it's a major scare
 proposition
having turks next door

we got fort Israel sure
but we got the turkish kennel too
and these gods are
MEEEEAAAAN
----------------------------
	 SO YOUR IRAQI KURDS
YOU GOT TURKS ABOVE
AND SADDAM BELOW
naturally
given the sandwitch
you got to sleep with some one powerful
unless you want a squashing
right
and like so
the kurd’s
 local power pricks
 are in bed
with the Yankee crusaders

and guess who’s pitching ?

so unlike say
around Basra
only
two short run questions
pop out at you
up there

how will the 2 parties
 now dividing the place
 between themselves
deal with
 Greater Kurdistan issues
and
how will the kurdish community
share in the local oil reserves
-----------------------------------------
of the 25 million kurds
in the region
the vast majority live not in Iraq
but in neighboring areas of
 turkey and Iran

 despite peace between
the two Iraqi-Kurd parties

there are other Kurdish parties
several others
operating from inside the iraq-kurd zone
in particular
one based along the Turkish border
 has engaged on and off
in a war for independence
against
those real lovers of national fair play
 the Turks
 at stake ?

the homelands of
about 15 million turkish kurds

decision for a future kurdish iraq
support or shun?
that question
could split the kurd community
  right ?

wrong
looks like the turkey roll
is most likely

and thats
 uncles druther obviously
so ......

in the words of a fine
19th century Irish statesman
 WHEN ACCUSED
OF SELLING OUT
HIS NATION

“ thank the dear lord
I’ve got a nation to sell ”
-------------------------------------
yes sellout
is the order of the day
when its
 GREATER KURDISTAN
your talking about

not that theres
no tussle in these
Iraqi-kurd guys

in fact
 prior to a
yank brokered truce
and area division
betwixt the two local parties
the 90’s
saw the air filled
with cross barking
betwixt the factions

still we ‘ve seen the run on these guys
so question one
has an answer
  both parties are
content for now
to roost on their shares of
the “ oil rich homeland fragment ”

any conflicting
dreams dancing in their heads
dreams of taking it all
dreams of a greater kurdistan
are stamped
“ deferred ”

we’ll see
what else may shoot up
but
 my advice
DON’T BET
HEAVY ON
 these jokers
getting tough for real
 i see
snow ball type chances
these roosters
 pick a fight with Uncle
any time soon

 remember the shit sandwitch

TURKS ABOVE
AND
ARABS BELOW

uncle unleashes
either or both of
 those bastards and .....

enough said

so it seems
tar baby warners can despair
cause at least
up there
I’d say uncle Sam
got the heft he needs
 as of the moment
------------------------
BOTTOM LINE

THE
KURDS
WILL TAKE
some vague
 “ federal loin cloth”
ROPE A DOPE
FOR NOW

 then again
uncle MAY
over play his hand
trust in Kurd spinelessness
and barter away
 the kurds oil
to placate the Shiites
and /or Sunnis

so we come to oil shares
here the local kurds
need a generous bowl

something tells me
uncle can’t be generous
at least not for long
what think U ?
------------------------------------------

but
 for Bush ‘s
FIVE AND ONE HALF year
 MAX
outside
the god sent
sunni terror raids
 kurdland is probably 90 %
 gravy for
 UNCLE OCC

GO SOUTH OF MOSUL
 HOWEVER

 and
 the bush crusade’s
got a parcel of hell itself
awaiting him
in Iraqs
  other pieces

take
the Sunni slap down
at the core of any UNCLE TOPPLE

 what a can of worms

  THESE ARE THE SPARTANS
TO THE SHIITE HELOTRY

clock em and mischief will abound

see continued
